I am! I don’t post much though.
I love both Penta and Fenix, and would deeply love to see Fenix vs Je’Von Evans. Right now I’m psyched for Wrestledream, but I’m not a Mercedes Mone fan and I think that’s an unpopular opinion over in SC.
Also Emi Sakura is my Queen, full stop. She’s just a fantastic person and has such a great career!
Letterkenny and Shoresy are SO good. Jared Keeso is a brilliant comedian and has a knack for heartfelt story.
Also, wrestling counts. I’m an AEW girl but no tribalism from me. Who’s your wrestler to watch, or storyline you love?
Extraordinary Attorney Woo - A Netflix K-drama about an autistic savant lawyer. It’s charming, funny, and has a really beautiful story overall.
Bofuri: I Don’t Want To Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense - a cute and fun anime about Maple, who doesn’t want to get hurt in a VR MMO so she maxes her defense and becomes a hero.
I like light-hearted shows, so I’ll be checking out a few of the ones in this thread 🙂
I just discovered Penzeys recently and their smoked paprika is a staple in my kitchen now! It’s so vibrant.
One of the things I’ve found that’s helped me is America’s Test Kitchen. Seriously. They test everything thoroughly, explain why things work and what’s commonly done wrong, and give good clear instructions for doing things.
I’m a stimulation seeker when it comes to food, but I also have the need to understand why recipes work or fail. I made ATK’s jambalaya recipe with my partner and it was easy because of their directions (use a food processor to chop veg, here is how you know when the meat is ready, this is why cooking rice doesn’t always work), and super delicious. We bought the cookbook that has all the recipes from the show, and I keep finding new recipes to try that satisfy my need to know.
Also, anyone who says prep your ingredients before starting to actually cook is 100% correct. It’s really made my cooking so much better and less stressful. I love to cook for myself and my partner now that I can prep thoroughly beforehand.
Migas! It’s a TexMex egg dish.
Beat eggs with salt, pepper, and cumin. Let them stand for 10 minutes, then dice a jalapeno and an equal amount of onion. Fry them for a couple of minutes, then add minced garlic. When the garlic is just fragrant, beat the eggs back to foaminess, then add to the pan. Let them set for about 45 seconds, then add a big dollop of salsa and mix. When the eggs are almost done to your liking, add a handful of cheese (I like cheddar or Oaxaca), and crumble in a handful of tortilla chips, the more stale the better. Let everything sit covered for a minute or two, then serve!
I like mine with extra jalapeno, and if I’m feeling saucy I add chorizo.
Comfort Eagle has some great songs but I agree, Pressure Chief has the best flow overall.
I was one of the people who did my homework exercises, and still do (mostly). It’s worked well enough.
I’ve mentioned it elsewhere, but I saw Akira when I was four and my brother was three. Our dad picked it out because “animation is for children”.
I can’t remember much of it but it left me with a deep distate for body horror and nightmares for literal weeks.
Pickled cherries? That sounds delicious! What spices do you use for them?
This is exactly it. Unfortunately, lenders don’t review documents the moment you buy the car, and I can confirm my job has had to do “return/repurchase” transactions for customers when their lender said “mm, nah” days or weeks after the purchase.
If they try to bond the title, the state will reject it and the lender will step up efforts to fuck them over for trying to circumvent the process. Circle of sovcit life.
And the final one:
I’m a man.
But I changed.
Because I had to.
Oh well.
Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati. When all else fails, play dead.
What board games are you into right now? My partner collects them and we play some fun stuff!
Tell me more about the pickles, please? I love fresh jalapenos but haven’t found a pickled one I really like, so maybe making my own would help.
I have yet to try Pathfinder 2nd, but I’m glad to hear it’s good! We had a really fun first edition campaign running for awhile.
I about jumped out of my seat when I saw him hit the pad face first. It was a neat idea to have him take on Perry to really show off the new heel character.
