It’s Switzerland. While I don’t know the answer to your question, having grown up there and in the states, I wanted to compare the cereal industries and how they tried to promote a healthier lifestyle. Then this happened: (from Wikipedia)
An early proponent of the germ theory of disease, Kellogg was well ahead of his time in relating intestinal flora and the presence of bacteria in the intestines to health and disease. The sanitarium approached treatment in a holistic manner, actively promoting vegetarianism, nutrition, the use of enemas to clear “intestinal flora”, exercise, sun-bathing, and hydrotherapy, as well as the abstention from smoking tobacco, drinking alcoholic beverages, and sexual activity. Kellogg dedicated the last 30 years of his life to promoting eugenics and segregation.
😳
So they made the immigration minister the housing minister and now he wants to cut immigration? When all you have is a hammer…
The scary part is how many people just don’t seem to care. Hey, did you know you can get cheap bullshit on Temu? The idea that you’ll one day have to compete for your job with someone with an implant is scary, not for them because they signed up at betterhelp.com to have a professional talk them off a ledge once a week. Hopefully they won’t be much of a threat because of all the single people in their area. Also, boner pills anyone?
Those are all perfectly cromulent words

I agree with you though

Do you have a YouTube video for reference? I’ve tried two methods but not sure what the best is
Yes but it’s risky. The poop on the 4th day may make you have to retile your bathroom.
That and movies just suck nowadays. This is partially old man yelling at cloud stuff but also true since the death of DVD’s means studios won’t take risks anymore since they can’t recoup funds after a poor box office.
For anyone that needs to hear this. You can’t be reasonable with unreasonable people. Don’t judge yourself by their standards. Do the right thing and focus what’s under your control.
The best kind of murder-insult!
Is ID still a topic at schools? I remember back in the day we had FSM to point out how ridiculous their positions were.
Just a quick update for anyone that finds this thread, I walked into a Fleet Feet to ask about shoes for PF. Was told it needed arch support and a stiffer heel and that they recommend the Hoka Clifton 8. I mumbled shit and walked out cause that’s the shoe I’m running in…guess it’s back to just strengthening my lower leg and being careful.
Thanks for this. Yes, doing raises, stretches, losing 10 lbs, and making sure I don’t step on it first thing the morning without stretching definitely helped.
What’s weird is that it actually feels a bit better now than it did before the race; just wondering how to avoid that 24 hour period of excruciating pain.
I took my massage gun last night and for the first time really jammed it into my solus right where it meets the calf and it completely loosened my foot up without even touching it, so I think that’s the primary source of my issues. Will check out the r8 as well. As for striding, this was my first race where I actually focused on mid foot striking and increasing my cadence so I could have overloaded my lower leg muscles and created the temporary issue. On to more calf raises before the next effort!
I had to stop right at the beginning where he blames diseases on Bill Gates because the Gates foundation focused on other diseases, diverting funds. Like pick a path and I’ll blame you for not picking the other one. No judgment otherwise as I haven’t watched the video but that’s just weak.
So you’re saying don’t get PF specific footwear? I don’t run that often and most of my time is spent barefoot and in other types of shoes (we agree on cause and treatment I think). Just trying to see if there’s a way to avoid the day of limping after a 23 minute effort.
Not surprised that NYC is overcorrecting once again. I work in the industry and out of 2500 apartments we estimate around 20 are tenants involved in short term rentals. The last two we caught were even people that rent multiple rent-stabilized apartments and run their own business on Airbnb. This not only puts a pressure on unit supply in general but also specifically removes affordable housing opportunities for those in need.
At least with the buildings I’m involved in, the bigger issue is the state removing any ability to raise rents on vacant rent-stabilized units. We have at least 60 units sitting vacant indefinitely because it would take over 5 years to recover the cost of fixing up the unit and getting it rented. This rule was meant to stop shitty landlords drom taking advantage of tenants but if their focus was on tenant protection laws instead of completely removing all incentives to invest capital in old units they wouldn’t have swapped one issue for another.
I’m sure there are legitimate uses for Airbnb that have now been completely eliminated and we’ll see unintended consequences down the line.
