I’m impressed the box advertised Linux compatibility. Not common to see that on product packaging back then in the late 90s, so it was always nice when it did.

Congrats!
How do the hunts compare to other games in the series? I haven’t played a lot of XIII, but I really enjoyed getting 100% hunts in XV and XVI, and I’m on the big XIV hunt achievement grind now. I’m sure I’ll want to 100% the hunts in XII whenever I get around to finishing it, too.
I use iTerm’s tmux integration all the time and would find it incredibly difficult to switch to another terminal emulator that doesn’t have it.
I think this is the first time they’ve offered an XP earring for sale outside of a preorder bonus!
It seems like a pretty good deal for new players who joined at the beginning of an expansion cycle and would otherwise have to wait 1-2 years for the next preorder earring.
It’s also one cent cheaper than a fantasia, includes a fantasia, and is account-wide, so for a new player who already went through their two free fantasias and is looking to buy another one, it’d be better to buy this instead.
Technology and cargo are now completely separate inventories, so any technology you had installed in your general inventory needs to be reinstalled in your technology inventory.
As a way of compensating for this nerf, they also added supercharged slots, which provide a buff to the technology installed in that slot. These are randomly laid out. Higher class equipment has more supercharged slots, but you may need to add slots to uncover all of the supercharged slots.
This is Thancred!
