Do yourself a favor and record your boss fights so you can remember how it went afterwards. Rewatching my fights is fascinating to me because I can clearly see a shift in my own confidence and how I approached every fight, with the biggest difference being visible in my victory against true Eigong.

I’ve rewatched my fights more times than I’d like to admit. And give Eigong my regards. She’s the best boss fight I’ve ever locked horns with.

Ori and the Blind Forest made me fall in love with Metroidvanias. Such a great series

I found Nine Sols’ default difficulty to be quite hard, but not unreasonable. I went straight for the true ending and Eigong took me about 7 hours of playtime. It was the first time I’ve played a game that forced me to truly master the combat, and sometimes I wish I could go back and do it for the first time again

I also know a few drip users, but euki will likely get more attention for one specific reason: the name.

Literally every woman that my wife has told about drip has visibly recoiled at the name. They might as well have named it Moist

Federation makes it available to other instances, but the community is still located on one instance

I think this is overlooking quite a lot of direct lies that they told.

This wasn’t as simple as “they said it would happen one day”. They were saying repeatedly how it would be at launch, and those blatant lies tainted this game permanently for a lot of us.

Even now after it’s alleged to be a lot better, I can’t bring myself to even reinstall the game. Half because I’m still angry it happened to begin with, and half from embarrassment of feeling scammed

I created a Dumpster Fire category in my steam library for this game, and it’ll likely stay there forever

Nine Sols is a damn masterpiece.

The skill ceiling for that game is so incredibly high, and the floor is high enough to make sure you really understand the combat system.

I only discovered it a few weeks ago and I can’t seem to stop playing even as my ass gets cut off and handed to me.

It’s just so satisfying that it’s hard to put into words.
