Hi, thanks for posting. Sadly your post violates three rules, but you are welcome to try again. Please delete this post, thank you!

    1. High resolution renders only No screenshots, please use PR (Steam / GitHub) to make renders. Here’s tips for the settings. You may upload regular/additional images in the comments

    2. Post the entire map or as much as possible of the surrounding terrain. If surrounded by mountain and/or ice, modest cropping is allowed. Please keep the render square.

    3. Use descriptive titles Think colony/seed name, colonist count, biome, background info etc… So not: ‘I was told to post this here’. ‘The others are probably better.’ Or without

  • Village Vibe adds an autonomous Village population to the player’s RimWorld maps. New Citz arrive through population events, become part of the local village population and develop lives of their own alongside the player’s colony.

    • Citz are independent villagers and cannot be drafted, zoned or directly commanded • They socialise with colonists, form opinions, relationships and romances • They may aid injured colonists by fetching medicine, tending wounds, feeding them or keeping them company • They respond to fires, danger and other emergencies on the map • Nearby Citz can witness how villagers are treated • Harmful actions affect wider Village reputation and may trigger collective hostility • Relationships, reputation and hostility persist over time • Citz form couples, have children and take part in childcare • They pursue their own work, leisure, social and family priorities • Annual celebrations and other incidents create further interaction between villagers and colonists • Population size and arrival frequency can be configured or adjusted for performance

Village Vibe creates a living neighbouring population on the same map: socially connected, reactive and capable of cooperation or retaliation, but never under direct player control.

  • Now I understand what you’re saying

The Rimworld community is and always has been one of the most welcoming, civil, collaborative, and supportive in general and specifically nonjudgmental about play-styles

That’s one of the reasons why I still love this game. The general consensus is that Rimworld is made to be played whatever way you like. The fact that is has a scenario editor and doesn’t use achievements confirms this

I don’t think it’s accurate to map patterns from other gaming communities onto RimWorld. The comparison doesn’t fit well
