I kind of think it’s just reputational hangover. Everyone remembers how bad Windows Vista was because Windows XP had been so great, however Microsoft came along with Windows 7 and improved the windows reputation. In the Linux world people aren’t really doing big promos which garner a lot of media attention regarding new kernel versions or new DE’s. Ubuntu is really the closest this ever comes but I’m sure if there was someone being a bit more like “Arch 2028! Our most stable version yet!” and hyped it all up and did a bunch of promos the reputation would shift more.

The day before National POW/MIA Recognition Day, Jake and Logan Paul addressed troops gathered at the Pentagon.

From the podium, Logan Paul told those gathered that touring the building was “a cool experience.”

This is very exciting news!! It’s this kind of thing which demonstrates that people do things becauae they are passionate and enjoy achieving things, good people are not solely driven by money.

I’ve seen a good amount of history channels run by women lately, it’s refreshing to listen to a female voice talk about history topics which are not just war and the same big events other people often cover.

Hot history is my new favorite history channel.

In some ways yes, although interestingly they didn’t go down the same route with their electrical plugs having fuses.

I know someone at work who is often “a-political” and tries the whole let’s hear out all sides. This is am excellent reason as to why you just need to pick a side, because now he’s probably alienating people on both sides.

That said, there will always be Ed Sheeran fans, just like some people still like Harry Potter. I’ll never understand why.
