  • I bet a lot of people peddling homeopathy just think it’s herbs and water, and don’t know the initial theories behind it like “the law of similars” (thinking something can be treated by a substance that causes similar symptoms) and miasma (outdated idea on how diseases spread), or the fact that it’s often so diluted to the point where whatever was originally there is essentially gone.

At least some natural/traditional remedies are legit, but still see an actual fucking doctor over anything serious.

What are the terms that say that? I just want to be sure because every few years I see uproar over misinterpretations of some social site’s terms of service saying “we have the right to modify and redistribute your work”, when all it means is that they can host and make slight modifications to the files you post.

  • Unfortunately, I’ve heard of people getting rejected from places for being unvaccinated because their particular condition, often in the case of rare ones, is one that doesn’t qualify for “vaccine exemption” despite there being legitimate reasons for it.

Everyone who’s able to should definitely get vaxxed, but the way the system currently works can be a problem for certain people who have actual reasons for medical exemption.
