Bunch of wacky hypocrites, the whole lot of them.

I had a sales guy with this problem once.
He has NO IDEA how his laptop kept throwing up endless porn pop ups.
Like, whayever dude, I don’t really care, I am not your boss.

This is the “fuck this idiot is so dumb it will take me ten seconds to fix this but its ten seconds I will never get back” pose.
They are weirdly fragile
Meanwhile, my childhood hamster would escape even with books holding the cage door down and once wandered all the way across the house to find us while we were watching TV.
I wonder if anything happens if you manage to burn all the Epstien docs.
I ran into a homeless dude in Chicago selling tourist magazines, I told him I didn’t need a magazine but appreciated he was at least not just asking for money and gave him some cash anyway.

Someone probably forgot to carry the 7 when converting Freedom Units to Dishwashers tonFootball Fields to Commie Euro Units.

I want an EV. My problems are…
I can’t afford it. Every vehicle I have ever own has been used and under $20k. I don’t trust a used EV because batteries.
I can’t afford to install a charger in my home.
I hate how new cars don’t have tactile interfsces. I get a ticket for using my phome while driving but every new vehicle has a giant “phone” I have to navigate tonchange the radio.
I have no interest in newer cars, ICE or EV, affordable or not, because they seem to be plagues by bull shit subscription nonsense.

Copy paste quite text sucks on my app.
Companies are not making money
Maybe small companies, but for the larger usual.suspects, is it really that they are not making money, or some meaningless bull shit like “not meeting projected earnings.”. The classic "We expected to make 5 gazillion dollars, but we only made 4, so we are “losing money”. Like fuckers, you still MADE 4, you fucking MADE MONEY. ASHITLOAD OF IT.
Companies should turn better productivity into lower prices
Yeah, thats alot of the problem, but its all profits over everything else. And “projected earnings” style profits over everything else because fucking shareholder leaches.
That population comment has me wondering now. Is there a country that the population of itself, would NOT fit inside.
Like maybe some random tiny European country that produces a lot of people who go live in larger nearby countries, but they are still citizens of their home land. Then for some reason, they all decide to return home.
I guess my point is, that actually could very easily be true, that there is a country that can’t actually contain its population.
I mean, physically, probably not, but more like, with houses and shit.
Yeah but also its like “Thats why I am here boss, to learn and understand.”

How many extra tokens get burned with all this pre filled context I wonder.
I think a full sized gun would work too.
Usually it felt like no one noticed until someone would kind of cautiously ask about it.
Wasn’t that security flaw thing found to be horse shit anyway?
This was why I dropped my Statistics class. It felt like butchering math to achive conformation bias.

You know, maybe, just maybe, we wouldn’t be in a recession if companies would stop constantly laying people off, allowing people to be comfortable and happy and have money to spend on things (overpriced AI plans included).
Like great, you figured out your empliyees have like, 25% downtime or whatever, that doesn’t mean its useful to fire 1/4 employees and make everyone else “pick up the slack”. It means that’s business, and that bit ofna break probably keeps your employees happy and thus more productive, instead of work work work stress thats going to ultimately kill productivity because everyone is depressed and miserable and whats the point, the company will just randomly lay me off for working hard anyway.

You can avoid the environmental impacts by using locally-hosted AI models.
Does thst reply not realize that is just spreading the impact around and not really reducing it? If anything it makes it worse because your local NPU/GPU lacks the efficiency of scale that say, a ChatGPT data center would have.
There is an argument to be made for peoppe getting impatient and using it less. But if it takes X Watts (or whatever) to run a prompt, and its bottle necked by your PSU, its just going to run longer to get there, burning more excess heat etc. Vs a controlled data center space designed to run these sort of quieries. Its not like they have millions of literal consumer desktops in an office space running these systems.
