Received the results for the JLPT exam I took last december ! I passed, (99/180 so pretty short as you need 90 to pass) but still quite proud of it.
I need to restart my learning :)
Bonne année !! 🦆

I’ll focus more on output/production in Japanese (mainly written). The goal is to gain confidence and stop trying to “overcorrect” myself and stop triple checking everything. I’ll start by writing a new year card to my teacher and my host family back in Japan. :)
I also want to keep developing the app I started last year, perhaps for a public release if I feel confident enough.
I have been using Bruno and I am quite happy with it (+ you can version and share your projects) https://www.usebruno.com/
Anyone knows how this sentence may be pronunced ?
Trying to pronunce the smaller ぁ sounds so unatural

Thank you ! It did go pretty well :)

Kanji/Vocabulary and grammar went wayyy better than I expected. However I round the oral comprehension part hard, probably because it was at the end and I kind of lost focus. Overall I am pretty proud of me, hope I’ll have enough points :)

Going for JLPT today ! I’ll give my best, feeling pretty ready.

Going for N4 ! So approximately a low - mis A2 level I guess ?

I have been able to motivate myself to study for the japanese official exam (JLPT) I have coming this next december Pretty hard to tell for now if I have the required level, I should try a sample test of the level I am aiming for. Might do it this week :)

Game soundtracks, mainly World of Warcraft because of the sheer amount of different music ambience and also because of the nostalgia hit.
I recommend https://youtube.com/@meisio for very very well crafted videos of pretty much every zone the game has or is offering.

I’d say it’s good for vocab, and hearing maybe ? Some things really sound unnatural.
The only course I can speak of is Japanese (no premium) and it’s imho complete ass if it’s your only source of knowledge. Only gimmicky sentences and speech elements

I think the whole thing comes from this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMJNEFHj8b8&t=276 (at ~4:30)

Decided to verify my account few months ago because, as per LinkedIn, verification makes your chances of getting recruited higher (which may be total bullshit). But when I saw it led to a third-party service that seemed pretty shaddy and over the top, I decided against it. Glad I trusted my gut feeling
