I’m pretty sure a lot of those people don’t even care about Palestine, it’s just an excuse to hate the centre-left. As another example, in the UK, the Labour party have been the ones receiving all of the hostility for not being pro-Palestine enough, despite the Conservatives being even less supportive, even when the Conservatives were the ones in power for half of the war.
