

My Immich app/webui does have memories where it groups some photos by time, such as “2 years ago” at the top of the app, but I don’t believe it does anything with memories for people or locations.

Yeah they’re making steady progress on major updates, and releasing patches for bugs and tweaks in between.
It’s good, there’s been a few major updates adding new zones, better NPCs, animals, more gear/weapons, and so on…
I still play multiplayer, but on games that still support community servers like Minecraft, Enshrouded, Arma 3, Space Engineers…
Don’t forget all the online requirements with accounts even if you want to play single player, and constant server issues on launch that seem to happen with every game now because none of them allow community servers anymore.
I’m not sure how to prevent saving in the first place, but you can use the Cookie Autodelete addon to remove them as soon as you close that tab.
What errors are you getting? Can’t do much without knowing something about why it’s not starting up or is crashing once running.

I also moved to Obsidian, it can import Keep notes.
I just use the Remotely Save plugin to handle sync, but there are other ways too like Syncthing, Livesync plugin, or just paying for their service.
This can be done entirely client side with a PGP addon for your mail client or browser.
Immich, but it needs the server side running somewhere.

Most programs on github will have a release you can just download and run, if you click on the releases section you should see some files for each version.

Why does it need to be on a VPS? It seems to work on a home network when I played around with it.
Wireguard if you’re just using it yourself. Many various ways to manage it, and it’s built in to most routers already.
Otherwise Headscale with one of the webUIs would be the closest replacement.
Any of them, Immich auto upload just picks up the files as they appear in the folder.
