Hi hi~ just a chill fellow looking for something to scroll through when I’m bored! I’m into art, dogs, videogames, music, anime and a bunch of things!! I hope we can all get along (❁´▽`❁)✲゚ (My name is a reference to the genus lycaon that African wild dogs belong to!)

  • POKEMON RANGER WAS SO GOOD!! I 100%ed the second game multiple times because I loved it so much, the story and characters were so fun and I really appreciated the gameplay changes from Ranger 1 lol… Like I enjoyed the og Ranger a lot too! But boy it was unforgiving lmao

I actually really want to revisit Guardian Signs! At the time I played it (a few years after launch) I didn’t enjoy it, I don’t remember it super well but I remember finding the story lacklustre and the backtracking tedious. ;; But I was also at a time in my life where I just wasn’t as interested in pokemon, I feel like I’d enjoy it if I replayed it now

  • For me the one I remember most was just being mega nauseous and dazed. I had a killer headache and tummyache combo and was also like… Kind of overly emotional lol? Definitely overshared and said thing I would have never said otherwise. But for better or worse I barely remember what I did! Walking home was also crazy, it felt like the world just kept spinning and putting one foot in front of the other was a whole ordeal.

It wasn’t bad enough that emergency services had to get involved, though my brother did call once we were back at his flat just to be sure. They told him to make sure I stayed conscious and didn’t fall asleep in a way where I could choke if I threw up and to call again if my breathing became too slow. And the next morning I had the worst hangover of my life. 0/10 do not recommend, miserable experience all around lol

  • Issues with Flash and the actual quality of those games aside, what I really miss from that period of the internet was that children could use it safely. There’s no spaces for children on the internet anymore and I think that’s really sad, nine year old should be playing Hannah Montana dress-up not get eating disorders from TikTok influencers

Edit for clarity: I didn’t mean to come off as though I think the internet was ever safe for unsupervised children because that’s not what I believe. What I was trying to say is that the loss of spaces made for children, with adequate content curation and moderation, pushed children on social media which is awful for them

  • I keep two windows side by side: the left one has my email, youtube and sometimes a comic I’m reading or audiobook; the right one has a browser virtual pet game I check every few hours and is where I open new tabs to check lemmy, imgur, etc. Pretty clean! But then the moment I work on either art or coding I open a third window that usually gets to 10+ tabs oops
