You fell for the prison psy op and missed the point of the article. “More humane” prisons completely ignores the abysmal conditions that persist regardless of superficial headlines. Prisons remain a form of social control for the elite to profit off the result of the suffering that capitalism creates (violence and trauma). But it gets worse because most people in prison are just poor or non white (disproportionately).

Its white supremacy - There are plenty that don’t regret theur choices because they are either still unaffected because they are closer to the white supremacist ideal (affluent, non marginilized white men) or think they will soon become those men (temporarily embarrassed non marginilized white men that aren’t afluent) or they think they are the exception to the rule (tokenized minorities and white women, gay white me, etc who are only tokenized as long as they are useful).

I wish we could raise white people’s class consciousness and sense of solidarity with all working people

Generally for protection against disputes om expensive items ebay require tracking numbers and potentially an adult signature if its over a certain amount
