Both. There’s anime where the sub sucks compared to the dub. Like Jojo. Dubs are translated to fit mouth movement. Sub’s are translated sometimes too literally. With baki there’s scenes that have very different meanings dubbed vs subbed. My solution has been to have both on. It’s helped in live action as well. You end up with two different translations which can get you a lot closer to the intent of the writer

It’s the power dynamic. A person in his position is only going to behave like everyone else thinks is OK because of social norms, but at some point those norms don’t apply. Just like no one’s surprised that Peter thiel is a suspect for his boyfriend’s death. Rich person does rich person thing and people are surprised? I just don’t get the surprise part. Grohl has probably had ridiculous amount of people throwing themselves at him his entire life, and we’re surprised that at some point he’s caved in?

Any time someone/group gets as big as them speaking the way they do, it makes me wonder if they’re doing a bit to corner a market. Capitalism WILL co-opt anything. Maybe they got caught up in it as well?

I find it funny that people, when Ukraine has a win, will talk about how great the Ukrainians are and how Russia sucks, but when Russia has a win there’s crickets.

Katy and Cody seem pretty anti capitalist at the moment. Also, I’ve always thought that Katy’s best jokes were far better than Cody’s, but he says 100 more than her.

I dropped it a year or two ago. What happened recently? I just realized that I really didn’t like Robert. It even seems like that kid moved onto Evan’s ‘compound’ (where he probably drives around drunk on his ATV) I’m all for compounds, but it’s more than a little weird when it’s one persons and that person is also employing everyone… It’s a fiefdom guys… In some more news, it’s kind of interesting to watch his former colleagues Katie and Dan get more and more radicalized because they’re just paying attention.

I help run a worker co-op that does unit inspections for housing co-ops.

This sounds like a clutter scale of 4 or 5. The clutter scale goes from 1 (pristine) to 5. There are organizations in most locations that can help with these behaviors.

At work, we don’t call it hoarding because that’s a medical diagnosis and there’s negative connotations. We always refer to it as clutter. Doing that in your conversations might help as well. Depending on their culture, they might be infected with ‘cleanliness is close to godliness’, so just be aware when you bring it up.

Also, there’s a chance that as a close family member, you MIGHT not have the necessary compassion needed to help your parents out, but there are organizations that can help out. If you want tips on how to look for a good organization, I can provide some.
