Yeah I still don’t see it as much a trope. Much like the storm its like ok he got another power above and beyond the main spider powers. I mean its like someone mentioned that then green lanter has electric powers. why would anyone be against draining shitty content into our feeds? Gee I wonder? We don’t need more content we need content to be real, human, and as high quality as possible.

So I came here to get away from reddit and I do hate posts from reddit. All the same what I really hate is pictures and links with no context. A lot of reddit posts I have seen are screenshots with no context and I find those real annoying. Recently someon had a post where they wrote a lot and retold the story in their own words and put links for reference. That does not bother me at all. Honeslty its basically how I would like to see things here. Real posts from people who say what they think if they are introducing something like a picture or link. So I guess for me its a bit more nuanced. All the same im more anti reddit than ok with good versions of it. Heck I block the crazy linkedin communities and such because I don’t want to see X or linkedin or facebook for that matter. slashdot would be fine with me but that is generally all text.

Thats at least something but I have found a lot of our stuff is to little to late. Like there is housing programs but somehow you have to survive without housing for a few years to possibly get some.

Yeah im sorry but I just can’t condone laws that say you can’t do something if your reason is X but if its Y its fine. Its not a public space its a private space open to the public. That is a vastly different thing. Its not federally funded (directly). Again I am totally fine with taking away the tax breaks and have they run as any other charity and following the same rules. honestly im not sure we should even have tax breaks for charity. Tax should be progressive for businesses the same as individuals (welll we actually need that to be more progressive to) with making larger amounts putting them into blocks that have a higher rate. Again though I really don’t think its so easy to say something is a religion. Yoga has all sorts of religious roots and philosphy spawned from it. Illegal? What about shriners? Or everyones favorite masons? Are religions that are not open to the public ok then? Its just not something I would like to see in a society. If people want to be religious I think they should be able to do anything someone can do in a non religious way. ie clubs and such.

I know you don’t want a list of non lightening but like I can’t think of any except black lightening and static shock who sorta seemed to be just a teenage copy of black lightening. I guess you can include storm but her powers are around the weather which lightening is just one aspect. Honestly hers is the only real lighening as the others are electric powers. Just in recent movies we have black panther, falcon, luke cage, war machine, and cyborg showing up in films. Not sure if John Stewart has shown up in dc’s green lantern related stuff but anyone who read comics will be familiar with him.

besides wine cooler and mixed drinks I use desert wines and sweeter bubbling ones. I actually posted to the mix drink community to see if anyone knew how to make this variation on a long island ice tea that I used to drink to get hammered. Literally made it taste like lemonade. My sister was looking into going into bartending and taking classes and found it for me but apparently their are a bunch of variations and if not made just right it loses the nice taste. So I only was ever able to get it from her or some friends of hers at certain places. I even asked her about it in modern times but that was such another life for her she cannot recall how to do today.
