I might join you… I’m pretty good with having breakfast/dinner after 20 years of being inconsistent with either. But I have a habit of coming home from work, eating dinner on the couch and then not moving from there until I go to bed. I have almost no friends in Melbourne so I spend my weekends doing much the same.

I’m about the same. To be fair I need a new vacuum. I went to buy one today but was overwhelmed by all the stick vac choices so I went home empty handed 🫠

I figured it was coming but it doesn’t make it any easier 😭

It was more in my 6 years of living this apartment I had never seen it before. More concerned than anything.

I feel like I just saw a hot air balloon disappear behind some trees and land in Edinburgh Gardens. That can’t be normal.

Just woke up from my 4pm nap. FML.

Went to Missy Higgins at the Palais last night, probably one of the best gigs I’ve been to in the last 10 years. 13 year old me and 33 year old me were stoked.

Do it after work and then it’s done 🙂

I always dreaded going to the post office on Saturdays because the queues would be long, the packages would be piled up everywhere and nobody had their shit ready when it was their turn. This morning however, only person in there was paying bills and there was a few tubs on the ground of packages but nothing like what it used to be. The purse strings are tight here in the inner north.

In other news there are far too many pictures of me in my new passport of varying sizes and colors. 0/10 do not recommend.

Very few photos are more humbling then the passport photo as someone who doesn’t ware makeup. Being forced to remove your glasses when they’re something I use to detract from the ugly also doesn’t help🫠

Walked to Moon for some cruller treats and stopped at Eddy gardens for some dog watching on the way home. Surely this makes up for rotting in bed all day yesterday?

I can hear a rave/dance party going on from my apartment in Fitzroy North and I can’t figure out where it’s come from.

Not that I would go anyway as I’m a boring adult who has a job to go to tomorrow ☹️

Yep. This morning has been an absolute nightmare at work so it’s going super slowly but also so much work to squash in to the week.

Bacon, eggs, hollandaise on an English muffin please! I’m late to the hollandaise party. So good but I feel like it’s hardly ever on breakfast menus anymore ☹️

Oh thank God it’s not just me. I thought I was going crazy here in Fitzroy North. I thought surely that can’t be what I’m hearing.

I feel like it would just make me angrier, it’s so windy so there’s no satisfying clean yard and pile of leaves at the end 😂

Why is my neighbor out using his leaf blower on a day like this? He’s losing the fight.
