  • How anyone even feels safe in an AirBNB is beyond me. It’s just some random person renting their apartment out. There could be cameras and microphones everywhere and you’d never be able to find them all. Also have you seen the videos of using UV-light in AirBNB bathrooms. Omg.

Also the owner probably still has the key and could enter in the middle of the night…

At least hotels have a cleaning crew. Even if they’re not perfect, but at least they have one.

  • Not everything needs a European replacement. They can just leave! Nobody needs AirBNB. But HomeToGo also ruins our housing market. These „companies“ need to be dismantled and their property seized. No matter where they’re headquartered. Other people could actually live there instead of foreign rich people to spend a weekend there.

Kind of the same btw with large and established organisations like Vonovia. Break then up. Take their buildings and start distributing fair housing.

Rich people out there housing poor and taking their money and somehow still neglecting the bare minimum

  • You’re missing my point or maybe I didn’t make my point very clear. I personally know people who voted the AfD. They are not nazis. Are they dumb in this regard? Yes. But they don’t hate minorities. They hate the lethargic SPD, CDU, etc.

No party has a serious plan to tackle the immigration issue. And it is an issue. There’s no denying this. The AfD is the only party that openly complains about the immigration. Unfortunately their plans are horrible. So we need the normal parties to do normal things to tackle immigration normally, not like Hitler.

That’s where they are stupid. They vote for the AfD because it’s the only vocal party about it. They fail to see that the AfD would just lock the immigrants up or round them up at the border. They’re ignorant and stupid. But they aren’t nazis.

Again. Some certainly are. All I’m saying is that not ALL of their voters are nazis. They’re angry and misguided.

  • My point is that in France, there isn’t even a fascist government in power right now. And they have such high numbers.

In the USA, they have a fascist regime in power and there should be hundreds of thousands, not 20 thousand protesters. All across the country. Not just one city.

France would be up in flames if what happened in the USA happened there. There would probably be deaths. There would be Molotov cocktails thrown at police.

  • I agree with you but for different reasons. The rockets can be considered as pollution. But they have a purpose.

We should focus on how we abandoned nuclear energy and instead still use coal and even expand our coal mines. That is far worse in my opinion. We are literally coloured black on pollution maps, together with Poland. Meanwhile, France, the undisputed nuclear endorser in Europe, is the exact opposite.

Our „Atomkraft, nein danke!“ attitude stinks.

  • I‘m also in Germany so I know. But still things are moving and it’s a good thing. How effective that will be? That’s another story. We can’t predict the future. But I’m tired of our stagnation so at this point, I see things happening and I’m happy. Better than doing nothing at all, isn’t it?

But I agree that the welfare state stuff is getting annoying. I will probably get hate for saying this, but I think that parents already get more than enough free money just for having children. To the point where some only have children to collect said money and spend it on themselves (cigarettes, alcohol, etc.) and neglecting their kids.

Not all of course. But certainly some.
