Maybe one day MS will patch 1.0 to actually make it release ready. It put me off MS GUIs so hard that I avoided 3.1 until '94 (when I got my first CD drive and it came with a windows only game).

I had a bulged lumbar disc but all the pain was in my knee so I thought I had done something to my patella. I couldn’t get in to see my doc so I was just trying to make my knee comfortable, which was impossible because it was an inflamed nerve. Then finally I was crawling back into bed for one more try to sleep and something about how I moved shifted the bulge and the pain went away. Maybe 30 seconds later I was hard asleep.

This was in the 90s and one of the local stations played reruns of Gilligan’s Island from 2:00 am until the news started at 5:30. I watched so many episodes… but I’m fine (⊙_⊙)

Anything Biden does with a click of his fingers Trump could undo as easily. But that is irrelevant since this would be in violation of the constitution. Even the mega-dangerous “the supreme court said the president is king” argument doesn’t hold up because this breaks one of the 2 guardrails (must be constitutional) in their ruling.

Biden can’t do this. States have most of the control over how their elections run. For anything like this to be pushed by the Fed it would take a constitutional amendment which requires congress to approve followed by 2/3rds of states to ratify. Stop blaming administrations for not being criminal, it just grants the criminal administrations cover.

I don’t think I can answer since equating to a font would indicate of consistency or repeatability that doesn’t exist.

I’m in my 40’s and I still can’t decide if I prefer writing a 7 with the crossbar though it of not. Of if I should draw a 4 like a triangle on a stick or a poorly made box.

TIL that finishing a shaped metal sheet by pounding it on a pedestal is called “planishing” and said pedestal is called a “planishing stake.” I’ve seen it done I just never thought to ask what it was called, I guess.
