I think the closest thing to a state Dem party doing anything approaching acceptable is seen in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Both state Dem parties boldly stood for trans rights without any reach-across-the-aisle bullshit. Meanwhile, strong blue states like Maryland were very reluctant to do anything on trans rights when the issue first came up, and national Dems are predictably not supportive of trans rights (especially with KOSA and Biden’s rule to maintain Selective Services registration for trans women as if they’re men).

I use an early 2010s Thinkpad, with Ubuntu, and I can play Minecraft pretty well on it. It’s great. I don’t often carry it places, it’s a desk laptop, but I don’t know of any other affordable laptop that would have such a long useful lifespan. If you know of any, please tell me, but my experiences has made me quite the Lenovo loyalist.

Google’s shares are divided into two types, Class A and Class C. Class A shares, traded as GOOGL, confer one vote per share as a typical stock would. Class C shares, traded as GOOG, confers no voting privileges. This dual shares system was done to raise more money selling less useful Class C shares (intended for mutual funds and the like) while keeping control of the company in the hands of those held on to Class A shares (i.e. longtime executives).
