The Orville gets a lot of mileage out of the Union’s medical science being even more advanced than the Federation’s. Like the early episode where Isaac cut Gordon’s leg off as part of a prank war and the easy answer was to just grow him a new one which took a day or two.
All the wacky Moclan traditions were very fun except for the ones that were extremely not fun.
It’s so worth sticking around.
Unlike a lot of P R E S T I G E T V garbage, it actually ends in a satisfying way too.
