My loading screen looks like it completes, then it flashes black, displays the loading screen again, but after the flash the loading animation has stopped and the screen is completely locked up.
Edit: It looks like the issue was because I had saved in orbit, I’m not sure if the location matters, but I was orbiting Volii Alpha, loading an earlier save while on the planet worked
Not on Steam Deck, on Xbox Series X, and it happened once tonight. I let it sit long enough and it came out of it OK.
Another time tonight and it outright crashed to the main menu opening a door in the Well.
Had the same issue the other night. After several attempts to load my autosave and a restart of my Deck, I finally fixed it by loading a much older save first then loading the more recent save from there.
In case it helps anyone figure out a pattern to the issue, my bugged save was on a space station and the old backup save was on my ship in orbit over some planet.
Ah yours was the opposite of mine, my bugged save was when I was in space, and my older save was 8 minutes before it when I was in Neon
Thankfully I save so often I didn’t lose much
I’ve been using Xbox Cloud Gaming to play this on my steam deck when not near the PC. It’s been pretty damn flawless.
