Old vets would actually complain about the “safety bullshit” that the military introduced.

Trigger discipline wasn’t something that was taught until near the end of the Vietnam war, and it didn’t gain popularity for a while after that. Old vets would actually complain about the “safety bullshit” that the military introduced.
