My dad sent this to me this morning, we saw totality for the 2017 one and now my partner and I are in Cincinnati to head into the path tomorrow to see it

I genuinely can’t emphasize how amazing it was to see. It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

    I was living in one of the prime spots for the 2017 one, full totality zone or whatever you call it. I woke up before it was about to happen, accidentally fell asleep for ten minutes, exactly enough time to miss the entire thing 😠 everyone was telling me how incredible it was, I still can’t get over it. All I had to do was walk out my door and I could see it perfectly, clear sky, warm, perfect conditions.

    SO everyone go check it out if you have the chance! Don’t be like me -_-

    I saw totality in 2017 as well and it was indeed incredible. another protip - there is no possible way you will get a reasonable photograph so just put your phone down. some things can’t be recorded, just experience it
