Where did they learn that 80,000 Axis POWs received U.S. citizenship? Thousands of Axis personnel receiving it is certainly factual… but eighty thousand? I am having a hell of a time finding the source for that.

ETA: Seriously, I want to know where they learnt this. The closest that I could find were these three sources, and they aren’t perfect fits.
