Honestly none of these liberals could approach even 1/10th the posting power of LiberalSocialist, they managed to start like 10 struggle sessions. The liberals we have now just unite the entire site in dunking.

I think it’s because libsoc, at least early on, had the vibe of a new leftist who didn’t know anything but acted willing to take in new information, then their knowledge plateaued and their ability or interest to take in new information evaporated

I think that’s how they were, but then they had a bad take, got dogpiled, doubled down and responded to the dogpile in a cringe and annoying way, got dogpiled even harder, and then they became more and more bitter an contrarian until they finally got banned. We could’ve handled it better, they could’ve too.

If I’m remembering right, the mods/admins had to ask people to stop accusing people of being feds specifically because too many people were calling LiberalSocialist a fed.

Just one reading of State and Revolution should be enough for anybody to distinguish between reformists/social democrats/opportunists on the one hand, who are not Marxists, and socialists on the other hand, who are Marxists.
