My 14 month old had a short wake up at 2:40am. For whatever reason (work stress, mostly) I couldn’t get back to sleep. I’ll be running on about 4 hours of sleep and caffeine today.

Are you supposed to let them be at that age or supposed to rock them back to sleep or something?

Haha. Great question, and I’m about to give a shitty (but true) answer.

It depends. It depends on the kid. It also depends what is happening in the kid’s life. It also probably depends on the phase of the moon or something.

No idea what you’re supposed to do. We briefly rock her, and then put her back down. She tends to fall back to sleep pretty quickly these days.
