The law has already been in the books for one century. Laïcity is the removal of any religious sign from schools and is one of the pillars of the French Republic. Man, I’m Belgian and France is one of the most racist countries I know.
These laws are always targeted at the same people but always wrapped in a layer of good intentions and nationalism.
