The authors said on Twitter that they aren’t EA’s, but they surveyed people at valley AI companies to write the report, so it’s probably quite influenced by EAs.

    Limiting AI in America will just make us less likely to compete with AI developed in the rest of the world.

      Not everything is about your toy train world geopolitical supremacy and there are people far too rich and powerful to give a shit about it who benefit from your believing that it is

      What does that even mean, does AI have a nationality? And compete on what? Are we going to pit the USA AI against the French AI in a cage match?
