I have a cousin that kills animals for the government. He’s a huge POS, likes meth, and likes killing things. He makes more money doing it than I could ever dream of. Has a 90k dollar truck, new house.

Things aren’t right in the US.

Meanwhile Colorado wants more wolves but cant find anyone to give them any. The state could have probably made $2000 or more per wolf if they just rounded them up and shipped them to CO rather than paying to have them killed

but then they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to literally punish nature for their own failures as ranchers!

You couldn’t pay me enough money to walk around killing baby animals. Like, you absolute psycho paths, Jesus Christ.

I think there’s maybe an amount you could have paid me at one point in my life to kill puppies all day. it would not have been a small number, and I would have regretted it.

Yikes, but also, I get it. Times get tough for everyone at some point.

was mostly just really angry and lashing out. killing puppies would have appealed for the sheer horror of it.

Controlling/culling animal populations is one thing. Waiting for the mother to give birth to up your bounty is quite another.

Would make more sense to use that money for building better livestock protection -_-

Way more sense. When pups are killed, wolves breed more, producing a larger population. This is for the hunters, not livestock management.

It’s only fair we get to feed their children to the wolves now
