Remember that 4gb is the official minimum specs for Windows 11. Also yeah, it’s been out for how long?

Huh, 4bg for Windows 11 sounds like a joke. Without severe debloating, this will feel like 2021 Chromebook.

Out with Windows 11 26H2 (1st october 2026). Deployment for every users come later this year, hard to say when.

All of that is true haha. My friend bought one and it wasn’t really usable out of the box. I had to do a major debloat for him to be able to use the browser properly.

My mom bought one of these cheapo laptops from Walmart that had 4GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC.

She was so excited thinking she got a deal at $200. Meanwhile someone else in our family got a Chromebook with the same specs at the same time for about $40 cheaper. After debloating Windows of all its trash and setting it up, it only had ~20GB of usable storage space and it was noticeably sluggish just sitting at the desktop trying to move the mouse and open folders.

Meanwhile the Chromebook ran everything with zero issue.

Oh and forgot the damned thing had S mode enabled and required me logging in to remove 🙃
