There is absolutely a market out there for someone who would love this. Not the same market as someone who could get a loan though. Good luck on the re remodel.

I consider myself a purple fanatic. My bedroom walls are purple, my linens are purple, anything I can get as purple I do… but there’s limits. Even as I’m writing this in my purple pants and sweater, with my feet on my purple mat as I take a poop, my floor itself is not purple, the wood in my bathroom is not purple, my kitchen ain’t either. This is maddening as a purple fan.

I think it’s real, but they shifted the colors. If you stare at it, it turns into the “white/gold dress” thing where I can start to see it as a dark red colored cabinet, with a weird red hue over top of it.

My first thought when I opened the image is that it was color shifted. It’s got an ‘old photo taken with a bad camera in low lighting’ vibe.

I love the color purple, so this isn’t so eye searing to me. But I can still acknowledge that it’s garish and gaudy, and whatever it costs, I wouldn’t be able to afford it anyway.

RedShift (like f.lux) makes this look so normal. Purple minus blue is brown, somehow. Then you disable the filter and Barney sends his regards.

Unfortunately, Prince died a few years ago so the market for that house dropped dramatically.

Billions and billions of coral polyps grew in a warm sea for millions of years before being crushed into limestone by the weight of ages. Then that limestone was heated and pressed deep in the earth for eons more. Finally, it was thrust up violently as it ran into another continental plate, pushing it to the surface where it could be turned into…

    that.

See, what he should have done was go with green accents and called it the joker kitchen. It may still have taken a long time, but I bet some Batman fan out there would have been lured in.
