This meme is so low effort I don’t think it really helps your point, rather it shows how superficial your understanding of all this is and your need to engage with this conflict as if it were two rival sports teams pitted against one another and it is all about having irrational pride for your team.
Russia is getting its ass kicked and I love how people like you have to resort to empty reaction memes that push abstracted narratives to garner support for your side because the actual numbers on the ground are getting grimmer and grimmer for russia by the day.
You are a loser and you support losers. Ukraine has broken the backbone of the russian army and no amount of conscription, North Korean or Chinese help can magically grow russia another backbone. Ukraine is demonstrating an ability to take territory with armored manuever, something russia has spectacularly and repeatedly failed to demonstrate proficiency at, there could not possibly be a worse sign for russia than the growing indicators that drones don’t make armored maneuver warfare obsolete they just make the russian approach to bullshitting armored maneuver obsolete.
:)
I would be careful to avoid doing what you just described doing but for the other side.
The war ain’t over until it is over, and propaganda exists on both sides.
Wars can continue far after one side or another has lost, just because I believe russia has lost decisively does not mean I think the war will be over tomorrow, it means things are only going to get worse for russia, this war is now purely an exercise in burning off the cowardice of the russian people to stand up against their own annihilation from being drafted and sent to the front to die pointlessly.
There is no winning for russia unless nuclear weapons are used and that makes “winning” a bit of a trivial idea… but my point is I am very confident russia is getting its ass kicked, I don’t just read news headlines and go off hype (though if I did I would probably honestly believe russia was far stronger than it is given the mainstream media’s bias).
Ukraine is winning, the frontlines aren’t changing rapidly but what is being demonstrated right now is that russia’s catastrophic failure to conduct an armored offensives in the drone age does not mean armored offensives are obsolete, which means the whole narrative underpinning this war as unavoidably a quagmire with no ability to quickly take or threaten territory is based on russia bullshitting tanks when they actually have no fucking clue how to use them or what they were actually designed for in the first place… which means the entire narrative around this war that everyone pretty much accepts as common knowledge in my opinion is bullshit.
I agree that you’re probably correct.
But I don’t think that anyone, outside of maybe a dozen people who happen to be high level intelligence folks on either side knows the reality.
I do think that there are potential non-nuclear options that Russia has as well…most of which require the collapse of NATO as outlined by Donald Tusk the other day, followed by triggering WWIII. Unlikely, but possible.
Poland could shit on russia pretty much all by itself with its massive wall of mechanized armor and supporting airforce/rotary wing elements, Romania will quickly have a wall of sepv3 abrams tanks, Germany if it doesn’t succomb to fascism and fall in love with russia can also easily kick russia’s ass.
Russia can absolutely conduct industrial and economic sabotage, russia can conduct terror attacks, but in terms of traditional land wars russia is entirely, totally fucked. They not only have failed to use their old tactics to take territory efficiently they have failed to even learn the correct lessons to adjust and begin building the military and doctrine they need in the future to even hope to take and hold territory. Meanwhile Europe and Ukraine did NOT make the same mistake and did not waste time throwing away institutional expertise into the meatgrinder or trying to brute force obsolete strategies.
Everything about russia’s approach to landwars fails at the point of tactical contact and execution since the individuals the responsibility falls on to actually pick up a weapon and attack the enemy are all treated like worthless shit by higher ups and they all know it, the russian military is proudly a largely unprofessional one founded on the unbelievably dumb theory that grunt infantry work doesn’t require highly trained professionals with a solid support system to keep them alive.
Russia sees war as a conduit to human traffic poor and confused from their international scams in Africa and elsewhere to the russian frontlines to serve as another body for a meatwave. That strategy used to kind of work but it no longer works at a general level now.
What makes this delusion even more disastrous for russia is that while both the ruling class of the “west” and of russia became convinced that drones and AI make the average person or “grunt” superfluous in war (and in all else), the institutional practice of treating infantry as professionals was much more ingrained in the west and so the maximalist antihuman viewpoint of the future that the ruling class saw AI and drones as a catalyst for was unable to destroy the fighting effectiveness of western forces as thoroughly as it was able to destroy the fighting effectiveness of russian forces.
This was a fatal error for russia, there is no correcting it in the near term since it is a choice that took years to come to fruition and will take decades to rectify the institutional losses from. The area this systematic longterm failure can most obviously be seen is of course russia’s air defenses.

Wut?
Based on public information, Russia is having a very bad time and will likely need to start opening other fronts and hoping the entire world goes to war. And that China ends up on their side.

Tell me more about the evil that lurks in the black hearts of all Russians.
Stop trying to make this about stories, memes and narratives in some abstract realm.
Russians are the same species as the rest of us, if you think I am arguing otherwise than you haven’t really spent time listening to my perspective.
For one shame on you for assuming that it is only russians fighting on the frontlines with their black hearts. Even if I thought russians were somehow inherently subhuman, which would be blatantingly fascist and I do not believe, the russian military treats much of its low training grunts/infantry as disposable and often the people who get tricked into leading the most suicidal attacks are foreign mercenaries hired under false pretenses who don’t know they are headed to the front until it is too late… so yeah I wouldn’t want to mow down waves of soldiers because 1. yes they are human, 2. they might not even be russian or even knew they were signing up to fight on the frontlines. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do it if my home was getting invaded though…
Secondly, again I am talking about cold hard facts that even most russians should agree with me on even if our politics are wildly different, russia has decisively lost this war and it is just making the blowback when russia finally does fold all the more tectonic to the foundations of russia and ultimately the catalyst for China consolidating ownership over large aspects of russia which whatever I don’t really care either way I want russia to stop their war of choice on Ukraine now is what I want.
Russia lost the artillery counter battery war, russia lost the deepstrike war, russia has proven their armor doctrine and design is obsolete, russia has been chased out of the sea and had their strategic bomber bases deep in their backline hit repeatedly, Ukraine is producing a heavy mechanized land army that is built from the ground up not to make the same ridiculous mistakes russia locked itself into decades ago…
Russia has prosecuted the Ukraine War in the last few years based on the concept that drones and AI make the grunt soldier even more disposable and ancillary to the success of the commander and Ukraine has proved the existential opposite, that fpv drones, fixed wing drones and ugvs are organic to the role of infantry itself which is a very different thing and it underscores how russia’s lack of valuing human life constantly undermines their ability to increase their power in the robotic realm.

If you see these things as problems, how are things going in russia?
