12-25 hours per week, ~50$ per hour for the first few listed positions, cost of living well under $500 USD across most of the world, so each month teaching English, oven only 12 hours a week, pays for 4 months of your cost of living abroad.

I’m curious about the specific types of teaching positions available this week in China. Are there any particular regions or cities that are seeing a higher demand for English teachers? Additionally, it would be helpful to know if there are any specific qualifications or experiences that candidates should focus on to increase their chances of landing a job.

TEFL jobs are available across all of China, here are more current teaching positions available this week, and I’ve listed the specific qualifications in the previous comment(TEFL and sometimes a 4-year degree).

China removed English as a required subject in all primary schools 3 and a half years ago, but there are thousands of public, private schools, and tutoring services that still teach English, which is a better deal for the teacher because it means smaller classes and higher pay.
