Sauce for the 1500 Black men jailed for cannabis, that was an attack by Tulsi Gabbard; but when cross-referenced with the DAs and prosecutors who used to work with her during her time, the number was actually closer to 2000, though “most of the people convicted during this period did not serve jail time.” Iunno how much I believe that.
As for the two Black men on death row… That was another attack by Gabbard, but I’m having a lot more trouble chasing down evidence on that. Much as I fucking detest the Top Cop and would light a candle for whoever did it if I heard about her getting knocked off, idk how much I like using badly-researched conservative attacks against her.
