The thing I most don’t like about this is that it’s, basically, a tax on idiots. If you’re using AI chat bots that much (at all, really) I don’t have much sympathy for you but this still seems to exploit ignorance.

Fine with me. I don’t intend to use it at all.

Heavy users. I don’t think power users are even considering Siri AI. Some may be. But as soon as it asks for money, they’ll jump to one worth paying for.

I’m in the beta. It’s not. It’s pretty useless. Still.

I imagine that charging to disable all of the AI bullshit entirely would be a better business model.
