    Went on an early internet date about 2004. I got there early, making to make sure I was wearing the same stuff as in my profile photo so she would recognise me.

    She turned up, took one look at me, and said: “Oh. No.”

    Then she left.

    Ah well. Obviously it bothered me at the time but I can look back and chuckle now.
