Can you explain “30 minutes from life”? I’m not an artist so am not sure if it’s something relating to the method of drawing or not.
Ooh, sure! From life means there was a nude model right in front of me. 30 minutes means she lay very still in that position for 30 minutes while we drew her. Rather than ink her there, I made a careful anatomy sketch in pencil and took extensive notes on shading, then did the rest when I had more time at home.
