Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville called for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to be arrested and sent to the infamous American torture prison at Guantanamo Bay. Mamdani’s crime? Calling indicted alleged war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu an “architect of genocide,” responsible for a series of atrocities in the ongoing war on Gaza.

“Sooner or later,” Mamdani will “do something more stupid than what he’s done, where we will finally say enough is enough, go put the handcuffs on him … and send him to Gitmo,” Tuberville, a Republican, said, calling Mamdani a “thug.”

        Good luck on seeing more republicans elected. Lol. Americans are savvy enough to know the difference between “good” socialism and “bad” socialism.

      What kind of socialism are you referring to? That’s a pretty wide net you’re casting.

      Social democracy (which is technically still capitalism)? Democratic socialism with decentralized authority? Anarchism? Union socialism?

      Or are you just looking at examples of Stalinism, Maoism and Marxist-Leninist socialism? Libertarian socialism?

      Do you realize the price of change is human life with any society? Capitalism has cost countless lives and the death toll is increasing.

        And comparatively basically every "developed’ nation is doing better than the USA.

        Sure they have their problems but at least they get affordable health care and time off work

        Not socialist but social democracies.

        Socialism is when WORKERS OWN THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION.

        These two countries are both free market privately owned economies. They both have extream(for the USA) regulations when it comes to how private enterprise can operate but at the end of the day they are both 100% capitalists.
