The UK is banning high-caffeine drinks for under-16s. How does coffee compare?

The British government wants to ban the sale of high-caffeine energy drinks to people under the age of 16. But how do they compare to coffee, tea and other beverages many people regularly consume? And what's the situation here in Australia?

Isn’t this old news? Have had to be 16 to buy energy drinks here for years. What am I missing

  Its not currently illegal but loads of stores have their own policy not to server them to under 16s
