People didn’t give trump enough credit in early polling. Don’t let polling stop you from voting in your best interest because it seems far fetched, even if it needs a parliamentary vote, don’t expect evil to sit still while we’re sitting on our hands

Why is polling even legal. It serves no purpose. I’m supposed to change my vote after surveying a small bunch of idiots?

      Oh I’ll still vote.

But it’s realistically it’s statistically not the same thing. It’s 18% leave vs 72% stay. Although Trump overperformed in 2016, it was from a 45% vs 55% back footing.

Warning against complacency are well recieved, but there is an order of magnitude difference on the overperformance required of the leavers to win this vs the overperformance Trump needed.

Yeah, fair, it’s pageantry, it stokes division more than it actually achieves. The price of society is vigilance and all that, I just won’t underestimate how much power greed and idiocy hold over us, all you have to do is look at the case study southward.
