Gotta love how they pretend there’s a further “authoritarian right” to compare themselves to, when it’s one side in particular that is rushing full-force to plunge into world war on several fronts, which is unilaterally backing a blatant genocide in the face of global and domestic outcry, which has been setting up political Reichstag fires all over the west to further justify their spiral into fully fascistic behavior, and which is falling over itself to defend the literal Nazis they propped up in Ukraine (and the Zionist Nazis they propped up in occupied Palestine).

Trump, Orban, et al. are the “slightly (considerably) less authoritarian right” in contrast to these bloodthirsty neocons, not that I think anyone should be backing them either (though I will certainly cheer on imperialist infighting and hope the best for their attempts in being a stumbling block to further escalation if nothing else).

Notice how the CIA left loves the raised fist aesthetic. No genuine revolutionary movement has ever used it to my knowledge but it’s present in messaging and iconography from many color revolutions, outright open liberal propaganda, and anarchist messaging (and we know the FBI published an anarchist zine back in the day).

The raised fist is extremely common in communist history, what are you talking about?

      The black power salute.

German communist salute in the 20’s.

Communist and anarchist salute in the Spanish civil war.

“Death to fascism, freedom to the People” “SFSN!” WW2 Yugoslavian chant with fists raised.

      Lal Salam

Nelson Mandela would end speeches with a raised fist. Fidel would do so commonly as well.

      Chinese “swearing into office” salute.

As an action not a symbol. It’s not on our posters. It’s super common among radical liberals who appropriate the feeling of radicalism that it has thanks to our real world use of it.

Are you serious? Did you do literally zero research?

The raised fist has been a major communist, socialist, anarchist, and syndicalist symbol for over a hundred years. It has been the symbol of many ML movements, case in point the Black Power and Black Panther movements, the Yugoslavian and Spanish partisans, the MPLA and South Africans, etc.

No investigation, no right to speak.
