I definitely see the value of health inspections and thus the need for food vendors to be licensed and inspected. I’ve seen enough issues in other countries with street food. But even then, maybe just have them post a notice that you are risking your own health or whatever.
But any other vendors, unless they are damaging things or not cleaning up or blocking traffic or aggressively hassling people or some other major nuisance that would mean they should contribute to tax money to repair their impacts, what does it matter?
