somebody better tell Oklo then. they’re spending almost 2B to build one in Oak Ridge lol. also, that 97% comes with a LOT of caveats. regardless, nuclear is such a great base load for the US, and we need to focus on grid supplementation to ease base load operations, anyway.
Well nuclear energy is fine as long as nuclear recycling is legal (it isn’t in the USA). Because nuclear waste is 97% pure fuel.
