    my mom never let me buy ice cream truck ice cream, her reasoning being “we have much higher quality ice cream in the freezer, and you can have some after dinner”

    then one day at a play date my friend’s mom got everyone ice cream truck ice cream and I learned, damn, mom was right, she buys way more premium shit to keep at home. lol

    mom was a 90s step aerobics health nut, so she wasn’t gonna waste dessert calories on anything but the best haha
