This is blatant, you listen to any of these podcasts or read any of these magazines & you get barraged with the same exact premises as the New York Times, with some quibbles about the wording. They all position themselves as the one who should have been The Guy.
So just to be clear, nobody is saying all these people are knowingly CIA. That’s what the clout chasing cheese mazes are for. That’s what the anonymous sources are for. They know how down bad these deeply pathetic people are. How else could they coin the term “failson”?

Fair warning, the compatible left is a labyrinth of ragebait. You can spend every day pursuing individual scandals, or you can lean on structural analysis & write these people off as the chumps they are. This case is a nice cross-section of all our faves who learned nothing, though. Some of the loudest, most annoying, & most repetitive charlatans.
Don’t just be outraged at these people. Look at what they want you to focus on, look at the form of (dis)organizing they encourage – purely recruitment. Reflect on how they affected the signal-to-noise ratio & underlying premises of your outlook on the world.
