Look I know the social media screenshots are vile. We all get a sickly feeling from these places. Nobody likes post-Youtube Creator Academy thumbnails unironically. They’re like those weird sculpture things with exaggerated features that scientists can use to act as Archons towards fledgling birds.

I post these things because everyone knows that nobody reads newspapers anymore. Your boomillenial reichparents just subliminally absorb Google/Apple News notifications & obtain Tucker Carlson talking points from parts unknown. The alt media & radio shows, shit like Vice News, all of that was a way to get propaganda deeper into the minds of more (relatively) ordinary people who know imperial core newspapers are lying to them but too scared to actually review information from what they see as hostile parties.

It works pretty well on nations that don’t have a lot of academic & journalistic resources relative to the core. It’s simply easier to repost Reuters on a lot of shit, which is what their better-funded (by who 🤔) private counterparts will do if permitted (e.g. not by the Sahel states which recently established centralized media infrastructure for precisely this reason). Libs hate the Russian media because it actually provides these services to peripheral countries as a partial alternative to AP/AFP/Reuters, but it also blasts a lot of the same stuff.

So, it’s not only random dipshits getting burnt out on student activism & unions that sold out to the MIC or simply abandoned any kind of overall worker solidarity (let alone interationalism) decades ago. It’s also Iran having to deal with people like Catherine Shakdam, & now (unbeknownst to them) people like Max Blumenthal, Jackson Hinkle, Christopher Helali, sheepdipped by Russia Today.

The streaming stuff, especially, should force us to consider the new potential of illegal military propaganda towards minors who have that awful gaming and/or model UN brain disease. I don’t know about you, but I was always nice to them (well I was nice to everyone actually). I don’t think that being turned into Drew Pavlou is what they deserve. The new alt media & its various iterations such as what people term the Platner Left (lol isn’t this just the Epstein Class if you go beyond Marvin Minsky & Thiel into journalism, e.g. Pierre Omidyar?) will surely be swept aside by something else. It’s worth recording.

I think this leaves an opening for anyone who is decisive & good at writing. Can’t say I’m either of those, just wanted to point it out for now. Also consider how convenient dumping these things here is for me. 😔 Jerboa/browser both have nice interfaces you know.
