    FYI, some comparisons:

    • That’s about how much an efficient CMOS clock (like on a PC motherboard) uses. LCD watches and calculators start at about twice as much.
    • A device with such energy use would deplete a CR2032 cell in 80 years if one could last this long.
    • With typical indoor illumination, photodiodes of about 5x5 mm total area are required to supply 1 μW.
