According to a senior official, from the US perspective, a takeover of Greenland by the United States is currently the only way to address the long-term security risks surrounding the island, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
“We continue to believe that this is the best way to meet NATO’s defence requirements with regard to Greenland,” he told journalists yesterday ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara.
At the same time, he said that other options were also being examined. He did not specify what these might entail. The senior government official pointed out that there was “intense naval activity” in the region around Greenland and that US President Donald Trump was seeking a “permanent” solution.
“So far, we see the acquisition of Greenland by the United States as the only solution,” the official added.
Who is gonna call now? FOOK tRumpy… enough is enough.

Clever use name You have there.
there must be new epstein info coming out.
I think the DOJ just refused to release the files under the administrations new leadership.
The Department of Justice is refusing to hand over redacted information from investigative files connected to Jeffrey Epstein, despite an order from a federal judge to either release the documents or explain why they were withheld.
US-Regime: Time to throw up the smokescreen again! Muhahaha, no one will ever see through this!
Rest of the World: C’mon, again? Why even bother? It’s not like there are any consequences to worry about for your deranged billionaires. So…
i hate how people are saying everything the US president does and says is a distraction, even if its worse than the thing its supposed to be a distraction of
its like eating a couple of babies and now every time you blow up a hospital people say its all an attempt to stop people from talking about the babies eaten
An attack on Greenland is an attack on a founding member of NATO, since the island belongs to Denmark despite its autonomy. The U.S. won’t attack NATO. Why would it? Not even that orange pedo would be that unbelievably stupid.
This nonsense was already ridiculous the last time around. I don’t understand how anyone can take this seriously.
this post is not the best example, but people were saying the same thing when he kidnapped another countries leader or when he started a war
Yes, that’s true. But instigating a military conflict with its own allies would be quite self-destructive, even for this criminal regime, which is, after all, well known for making empty threats as well.
I can’t for the life of me imagine what the benefit would be for the billionaires who control the U.S.
Trump and his henchmen may be utterly unscrupulous and obviously not the brightest, but there is one constant: every decision they make serves to line their own pockets.
I simply cannot fathom what benefit this gang would gain from invading Greenland. What is absolutely certain, however, is that this would have disastrous consequences for trade between Europe and the U.S.
Europe would undoubtedly have to respond, and that would cost all parties involved billions uppon billions.
It may well be that Trump himself would accept that in his narcissistic self-interest or in an attempt to completely ruin the U.S. However, I consider it much more likely that this is just the usual bullshit, because that’s definitely part of his communication strategy: one scandal after another to distract from his actual, sinister schemes. He’s been quite successful at that so far.
You’re a fool if you don’t take everything this administration says seriously
Well, I think it’s more important to tune out the noise this regime is constantly making and pay attention to the things they keep quiet about.
Besides, what is Europe supposed to do? Station nuclear warheads in Greenland?
History is going to prove you wrong.
The U.S. won’t attack NATO
No problem at all. He would simply redefine the term ‘attack’ first. And on the next day, he would publish 2 more pages from the Epstein files, then nobody talks about Greenland anymore.
Why would it?
Because he can.
Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty states that an armed attack against one NATO member shall be considered an attack against all members, and triggers an obligation for each member to come to its assistance.
If there were no straight up declaration of war by all NATO member states, the U.S. would lose its closest allies, and sanctions would be imposed that would cost everyone involved a great deal of money.
“Because he can” won’t be enough for the people who put Trump in the position he’s in.
Oh yes, I know that.
Ok, which one of you mentioned the tRUMP-EPSTEIN files again? Come on, own up!!
What exactly are these long-term security risks surrounding the island?
The biggest strategic reason for the US is missile defence. It lays pretty much exactly between Russia and the US when taking the shortest path (over the north pole)
America has existing agreements with the danish government to put bases there for detection and interception etc.
However there is one line the Danish government has: no storing of nuclear weapons in Greenland. America was already found to have broken this agreement and had to remove them some time ago. I imagine this is the part they care about
People also write about mineral rights and stuff but imo that’s secondary, there really isn’t that much worth mining these days, especially not given the cost of inland expeditions in Greenland
This all sounds like real governing reasons, which I don’t think this administration cares about.
I mean, it’s under threat from the US. That’s a pretty big risk.
The risks are that the billionaires need the island to become more bigger billionaires.
People finding out Trump is a pedophile.
At this point, even the people on North Sentinel Island know trump is a pedo.
Same as Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction.
Russia and China also have an interest in it, which stresses out the Americans
Greenland needs to kick the USA off the land. And tell the US they will only entertain talks about letting them back in the country when all the unredacted Epstein files have been released.
What do the Greenlanders care about the Epstein files?
Greenlanders would be trolling the trump administration with that demand, because the admin would never agree to it. And Greenlanders, like most of the world, know that the unredacted files contain enough evidence to jail trump for life.
If the unredacted Epstein files are released there will no longer be a reason to invade Greenland
The US is becoming the new Israel. Which itself became Nazi Germany decades ago.
Today i learned and that is why i share it: The irony is that it was zionist nationalists and the socialist party mapam that didnt didnt want a dualnational state nore work together with there present arabs
best way to meet NATO’s defence requirements
So it’s time to no longer let them define NATO’s defence requirements.
They want it no other way.
What now? Didn’t Orange recently stated that he won’t help NATO countries anymore and will withdraw at least part of the troops from Europe? And now he is “concerned” about our security?
It just didn’t go like he thought it would and now he is: Damn, what do i do now?
Trump is the best thing that could have happend for europe, that’s for sure!
Also for the environment, it seems. 🙃
Epstein, Epstein, alles muss versteckt sein. Epstein, Epstein—everything has to be hidden, based on a german childrens rhyme.
Make America Great Britain again!
So why is it convenient to mention Greenland exactly?
It’s more convenient not to mention the Epstein Files
Don’t they have Thule AFB already? Isn’t that enough?
Even if it wasn’t enough, they could just ask Denmark nicely and probably they could just get more.
Yeah the Danish were lenient enough with the US before. Had Trump been nice and not have made demands for territory, Denmark would have probably allowed a few more bases.
For now, the US isn’t going anywhere. Its bogged down in an immensely unpopular war that’s keeping its naval assets tied in the Persian Gulf. I am not expecting anything to happen until November.
And even if a peace deal somehow materializes, the US has already burned up most of its strategic reserves of interceptors and long range missiles and its naval and air assets were already overdue for maintenance at the start of the war. Not to mention its naval and air bases in the Middle East cannot be rebuilt within running logistics through NATO countries.
Unfortunately the US has… what… 7 fleets(?) fully capable of carrying out a full-scale war on their own?
