Vanilla Ice was supposed to perform during Donald Trump's Great American State Fair on Friday, June 26, before the concert was canceled due to heavy rainfall in Washington, D.C.
After facing backlash for agreeing to participate in the Trump-backed event, the 58-year-old rapper brushed off fan concerns, telling TMZ, “I don’t even vote, so I don’t even care.”
He also said that he would perform if former President Joe Biden asked him to, admitting, “I’d go play. It’s not a big thing. You play for your fans. You know, we don’t get a chance to pick our fans. They pick us. And I’ll go play for Putin and I’ll play in Iran if you want. It don’t matter.”
Fans? Really?
Right? It’s hilarious. I also think Iran and Putin should be told Vanilla Ice is flirting with them for a gig.
If they heard an artist was coming, and Vanilla Ice showed up…Russia and Iran would revolt against their government.
