Horrendous to think that this might be the best summer for the next 200 years.
Once the AMOC collapses, you can also add arctic winter temperatures to places like London. From -35c to 35c each year will be the norm.
It’s amazing that this is still not treated as the existential threat it is.
What you gotta remember is that fixing the environment is not profitable. No self-respecting venture capitalist is going to invest in that. On the other hand, things that actively accelerate the destruction of the planet have massive ROI potential, so we’re going full steam ahead on those.
